ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS
Town of Spafford, NY will receive Bids for the following projects listed below: Sealed bids will be received until Wednesday April 9, 2025 until 12:00 pm local time. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

- ii. Damage #1221114 (Culvert 1)
- iii. Damage #1221115 (Culvert 2)
- b. Project Overview: The Culvert, headwalls and pavement at the Spafford landing stream crossing were severely damaged during Hurricane Fred. These damages were reviewed and approved by F.E.M.A. The drawing set contains plans to remove all damaged items and provisions for the new culvert headwalls and pavement. This particular project involved replacing (2) culverts on Spafford Landing Road.

These damages were reviewed and approved by F.E.M.A. The drawing set contains plans to remove all damaged items and provisions for the new culvert, headwalls, and pave.
- 4. Road Paving, Ditch Improvements & Culvert Replacement Project for Bacher Road
- a. FEMA INFORMATION
- i. Project No. 672624 – P/W #361 | Disaster # 4625DR
- ii. Damage #1221119
- b. Project Overview: The Culverts, pavement, road and drainage ditches on Bacher Road were severely damaged during hurricane Fred. These damages were reviewed and approved by F.E.M.A. within the drawing set there are plans to remove all damaged items and provisions for the new culverts, pavement and drainage.
The foregoing is a general outline of the work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under the contract. Request for Information (RFI’s) will be directed to the town’s engineer of record. The last
date to submit RFI’s will be Friday March 28th 2025, by 5pm EST. Responses will be issued no later than Thursday April 3rd, 2025, by 5 PM.

The project duration is +/- 150 days from the Notice to Proceed.
Bid envelope must have the project name, bid date, and bid time on the envelope.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds and provide insurance in accordance
with the Instructions to Bidders.
All Bids to be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Statement to be considered. The Town of Spafford is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
There is no DBE goal for this project. The SDVOB goal for this project is 6%. The MBE and WBE goals are 7% and 10% respectively.
The Town of Spafford is exempt under Section 1116 of the New York State Taz Law, and therefore, no sales tax shall be included in the bid.
The Town of Spafford reserves the right to reject any and all bibs and accept an Bid or individual item or items which may be deemed most favorable to its best interest.
